Job Description

Salary: Up to RM 10,000
Working hours: 9am-6pm
Work location: Kelana Jaya
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • Execute/monitor Group's Compensation & Benefits programs, policies and procedures to achieve desired market compensation positioning by industry/geographical scope
  • Execute/monitor People & Organization cost control activities to maximize employee total rewards coverage against operating costs/budgets
  • Manage/review Group's total rewards reporting and identify specific trends/risk areas/improvements with recommendations of action plans for execution by Country People & Organization Managers
  • Collaborate with external subject matter experts to obtain information/data on P&O best practices and industry trends on organizational development, HRIS, compensation/benefits management
  • Project manage communication process and develop supporting documentation for the function's key initiatives by ensuring smooth rollout/transition processes
  • Act as liaison in managing administrative support in meeting and consultation with external parties (i.e. vendors, consultants etc.) on issues related to effective development, management & implementation of Group-wide performance-related initiatives
  • Collaborate with business, functions, Country P&O Managers and internal Group P&O functions to ensure compensation/benefits initiatives are high on business priorities
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in similar role, with at least 2 years of experience in managerial capacity.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Actuarial Science or similar related discipline is preferred. Professional certification is an added advantage (e.g. Certified
  • Compensation Professional, etc.)
  • Advanced experience in compensation and benefits, vendor project management, project planning change initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent ability in providing tactical deployment support/solutions to internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a global perspective and experience and an ability to work with diverse cultures
  • Excellent negotiation skills, research and analytical skills
  • Proficient in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
