Job Description

  • Project plan preparation and ownership through project delivery
  • Manage and own project delivery within budget, scope, quality and time requirements
  • Allocation of project tasks to project team
  • Risk & issues identification and management throughout the project
  • Lead and participate in project teams to implement project deliverables 
  • Create documentation for projects include plans, Gantt charts, resource plans, status reports risk logs etc
  • Forecast and report on actual revenue for each project 
  • Manage handover of project with customer and/or customer support 
  • Management of change throughout the project delivery
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing IT projects and working on the vendor side
  • Significant business experience using various project and program management methodologies in a variety of environments
  • Experience of software development processes
  • Regulatory experience and proven knowledge of the financial services industry would be an advantage
  • Background in development (preference in Microsoft Technologies)   
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL querying 
  • Knowledge of Fenergo Platform 
  • Knowledge of Server Environments and IIS 
  • Formal project management training/recognised qualification required 
  • Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification

  • Comfortably plans a typical sized project, in line with Fenergo project methodology
  • Ability to delegate activities lead the team monitoring their progress
  • Develops comprehensive project plans, being mindful of capacity and effort required
  • Insists on clear, complete documents and statements that remove uncertainty of outcomes and effort required
  • Understands the contribution their role makes to the success of the business
  • Can fully interpret the customer requirements, provides accurate estimations using previous similar sized projects & pieces of work
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on all things budget related
  • Can easily interpret and timely completion of the standard reporting tools adopted by Fenergo
  • Responds to customers' needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner
  • Demonstrates common courtesy with colleagues and clients alike, even when they are being difficult or demanding 
  • Responds promptly to customer requests and  within agreed timeframes 
  • Assesses customer needs accurately by listening  and sensitive questioning
  • Keeps promises made to customers
  • Actively looks for ways to improve work processes and makes practical suggestions
  • Has a strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work done
  • Anticipates possible problems and develops contingency plans in advance.
