Working hours: 0930 -1830hrs (Inclusive of weekends)
Work location: Bangsar
The Technical Claims Administrator will have the responsibility to manage claims within the NexAssure Extended Warranty TPA business, managing relationships with Automotive Dealers, and also claims key contacts across the region. Duties include, but are not limited, to the items listed below. Duties are subject to change at the request of the Automotive Warranty Manager.
1. Claims Administration and Management
  • Assess new claims submitted by fronting Insurer, based in Thailand into NexAssure’s claims system, iNex.
  • Translate Thai language into English for NexAssure claims team and communicate to Thai- speaking counterpart based in Bangkok
  • Analyze the faults being repaired, and the inventory of tools and parts available to perform those repairs, to assess the dealer’s submission if reasonable and customary.
  • Recommend coverage of cases to Automotive Warranty Manager based on submitted claims.
  • Ensure claims are assessed effectively, accurately and timely.
  • Assist and ensure appropriate handling of warranty-related paperwork and activities within the Extended Warranty program.
2. Fraud & Complaints Management
  • Work with claims team in battling any possible fraud incidents. Incumbent to raise red flags if there are fraud alerts.
  • Determine the authenticity of the claims submission.
  • Handle complaints, allegations of damage, and other issues in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Investigate and respond to feedback from the center on the quality of the claims.
  • Share key information with the team.
  • Maintain the dealership's database by liaising with the key contact person.
  • Handle technical calls from clients and customers where necessary.
  • Assist the Automotive Warranty Manager with on call duties (when necessary).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Automotive Warranty Manager.
  • Preferred work experience in the Automotive service industry as a trained automotive mechanic, service advisor or motor claims insurance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English and Thai language, written and oral (to service the Thailand programs).
  • High level interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated person who is comfortable in working in a results-based position.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage time is essential.
  • A friendly, professional manner is imperative, as is the ability to prepare and make presentations effectively.
